We built Captiv Studios a 41-foot XR LED wall for immersive virtual production

Captiv Studios came to us to elevate their XR studio. The goal was clear: a virtual-production stage capable of immersive, high-quality content that holds up to scrutiny on camera — the kind of clarity and realism that sells a shot rather than reminding everyone it’s a wall of pixels.

That meant treating the install as a production system, not just a screen. The wall had to be wide enough to give creative teams room to work, sharp enough to read as a real environment, and tight enough with the camera that the virtual world stayed locked to physical space.

We designed and installed a 41-foot-wide LED wall as the centerpiece of Captiv’s XR stage. The display is built on the Pisces LED Andromeda Panel, chosen for the image quality that makes immersive content read with genuine clarity and realism on camera.

To make the environment behave like a real one, we integrated Mo-Sys StarTracker Pro for camera tracking. That ties camera movement to the rendered scene, so the virtual world stays anchored to the physical stage as the camera moves — the core of believable extended-reality production.

The result is a coherent XR system: a large-format wall and precise tracking working together as one production-ready stage.
